Can You Help?

There is a little girl in my brother's 2nd grade class, she 7 her mom were in a very serious car accident September 14.  It has been almost a month and little Kyra just was able to come back to school but her mom is still unconscious.  The family has 4 kids and they would love to have their mom home with them soon.

Can you help?  We are trying to get one person to pray in every single state.  If you will pray please email me a picture of a heart to put in a Shutterfly book for the Kerrs.

We need lots more prayers and states represented.
I would appreciate this sooooooo much!

Please be creative:
you can take a picture of a heart in your house,
draw a heart & take a picture,
make a heart on the computer,
find a clip art heart.
Whatever you want.

We just need you to pray,
all hearts will go in their book so they can see how many people are praying even if we get more than one from each state.

I was thinking...I never met anyone from Delaware.

My Glowing Surprise

Today after school I walked into my room
& I saw this note laying on my bed:

Along with it my new lanterns were hung up.

My mom had surprised me!

I got these lanterns from a very dear friend for Christmas.

Now off to bed to go sleep in their glow!

Good Night!

Halloween Costumes

I still don't know what I am going to be for Halloween!

Here are a few of my past favorite costumes:

A Bee

Of course since I'm Annie I had to be Annie!

Little Bo Peep, I loved those ruffles.

And my fave, Shirley Temple!

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Stay Little 1

It seems like most kids want to grow up so fast, not me...
I want to enjoy being little while I can.

So while you are a kid be sure to:

Enjoy little fancy purses,

sneak on some lipstick,

day dream,

share secrets with your friends,

and hug your parents a lot.

Remember you will be an adult
before you know so make every day count!

What's YOUR fave thing about being a kid?

Stay Tuned...
Stay Little will become a regular column.

My Colorful Adventure

My mom & I do a ton of stuff together.

On Summer nights we usually go jogging 2 miles.

Last Sunday we did The Color Run together.

Here is my running crew!

My 2nd Cousin, me, my cousin, & my mom.
Super fun girls had a super fun time.

People throw colored powder at you when you run.

The red station girl looked like a total ladybug.

Powder was flying everywhere!

It's true...It really is the happiest 5K on the planet!

Check out the finish line!

Does it get any happier than a rainbow unicorn?

And my favorite part was at the very end,
they gave you a color powder packet
to toss into the air at the color party!

Now this is what the color party looks like:

WoooooHoooo!
Party on!

Every girl need a colorful adventure in their life!

Thanks to Maddie, Amelia, & Delilah for the tags!

Summer Fashion

The kids in The Sound of Music have play clothes, well I do too.

Let's start with the first things about summer fashion.
You want to be cute, cozy, fashionable,
yet something you can play hard in.

I like mixing patterns:

colorful polka dots,

 and ruffly stripes.

Now that's what I call mixing patterns.

If your skirt is a little short just throw a pair of shorts on under.

Grab accessories that are colorful and bright.

Find a cute way to keep your hair out of your way.

The best shoes are bare feet and cute toenails.

What are you wearing this summer?

Peek-a-Boo Project

At the end of the school year I broke my finger.

That meant I couldn't practice my recorder.

To make up my missing practice points I did a project.

If you ever have to make a project you might think this kind of project is fun to do.

My report was on Beethoven.

To do a peek-a-boo project,
get a file folder.
(I totally just made that name up)

Then, tuck and write, all your information into flaps & pockets.

Then, I put my sources on the back.

A boring project was made really fun.

While I was doing it I felt like an artist,
& I learned a lot about Beethoven too!

What have you done reports on?
